The G-GEN™ series offers the perfect solution for the combined generation of power and heat. The modules are particularly low-emission thanks to a clever three-way catalytic converter. CO2 emissions are reduced by up to 60 percent by comparison with separate generation of power and heat.
Power delivered to your premises through the national grid network is only 38% efficient and the reason for this is up to 62% is lost during transit or as heat into the atmosphere. Despite renewable energies such as solar or wind having an incredibly low carbon impact, they still have the same issue if the power is distributed to your premises through the grid. So generating locally, is the most efficient and greenest option.
Combined heat and power (CHP) engines generate electricity on-site and the by-product of this generation process is heat.
